Owners warned after stable break-ins

Police in North Norfolk are reminding stable owners to pay extra
attention to security following two burglaries in the area.

The first incident took place between 5pm on Thursday 24 October
and 3pm on Friday 25 October on Northfield Avenue,
Wells-next-the-sea.

Offenders have entered the outbuilding and
stolen one leather driving harness, two head collars and one
leather bridle and bit.

Following this a second burglary happened between 7.30pm on
Friday 25 October and 10am on Saturday 26 October on Rectory Road,
Weston Longville.

Offenders have entered the outbuilding and stolen
a leather saddle, jockey hat, horse massage oils, leather brown
bridle and reins, horse rug, horse brushes and six head
collars.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed
anything suspicious in the area around the time of either of these
incidents or anyone with any information to come forward.

Stable owners are being encouraged to review their security
following these incidents.
