Substantial reward in burglary appeal

Police are issuing descriptions of two pieces of jewellery
stolen in a burglary in Carleton St Peter.
Offenders broke into the house on Ferry Road between 10.30am and
6.30pm on Sunday 6 October 2013 by forcing a window and stole a
laptop, a camera and jewellery.
Along with a watch and a bracelet, a distinctive ring and brooch
were stolen and the owners are offering a 1000 reward for
information leading to the recovery of the stolen items and the
arrest and conviction of the offenders.
The ring is a gold Cartier make with rotating precious gemstones
set inside the band.
It was in a red Cartier box.
The brooch is an enamel and diamond tiger.
Both items are of
particular sentimental value and the owners are anxious for their
