Police drop probe into brother of murdered Alps tourist Saad al-Hilli …
NO CHARGES: Zaid al-Hilli was previously suspected of arranging the murder of his brother, sister-in-law and her mother SOCIAL MEDIA
The 54-year-old was arrested on suspicion of arranging the shooting of his brother Saad, 50, sister-in-law Ikbal, 47, and her mother Suhaila al-Allaf, 74, in France. Saad and Ikbal s daughters Zainab, eight, and Zeena, four, survived. Police yesterday said Zaid, of Chessington, Surrey, who was arrested nine months after the September 2012 bloodbath, would face no further action.
There is insufficient evidence to bring him before a court, officers said.
The brothers were said to have been locked in an inheritance dispute over Saad s 825,000 home in Claygate, Surrey.
Zaid has accused French investigators of a conspiracy, saying: They are covering up for someone in France in that region and they know it.
