State Police Investigate Shot Fired On I-395 – Courant.com

NORWICH State police are investigating an alleged road rage incident where a vehicle was shot at on I-395 late Thursday night. The driver called state police from the highway after the incident. Troopers searched the area for the suspect vehicle early Friday, with negative results, state police said.

The incident began on Route 2 eastbound in Norwich1, according to state police.

An occupant of the suspect vehicle threw something at the caller’s vehicle in passing and later fired a shot, striking the vehicle, state police said.

Detectives recovered evidence from the scene and are investigating the incident, state police said.
