We are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to cover the East Anglian Region (Essex, Suffolk, Cambridge and Norfolk).

The job will involve generating new business across the company s multiple service lines, including security personnel, mobile solutions, consultancy services, and technology-based solutions.

Candidates must have a demonstrable track record of sales in the security industry or a related sector (FM, telecoms, cleaning services etc).

Basic of 30,000- 35,000 dependant on relevant experience.

What are we asking for?

Articulate written and verbal communication skills / Excellent interpersonal skills.
Dedication and strong communication skills.
Experience of PQQ/tender writing with evidence of successful awards.
Demonstrable experience of closing sales with a successful history of target achievement.
Experience in securing contracts worth in excess of 25,000.
Consultancy type sales approach within the service or B2B sector.
Previous proven sales experience in cold calling and developing new relationship from scratch.
Full driving licence.
Team Player.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop our portfolio by identifying potential business sales opportunities and working with the Operations and Consultancy teams to secure new contracts.
Develop and relationship manage relevant opportunities through to contract award.
Contribute to the regional sales and marketing strategy and deliver upward growth in annual turnover.
Responsible for the preparation of tenders and re-tenders.
Integrate all other security related services into the sales process.
Maintain liaison with Prospects with aim of being placed on client tender list or PQQ.
Issue tenders and quotations.
Attend site surveys with Risk Manager with particular emphasis on client/site requirements.
Attend local networking functions to maximize the networking capability of the company.

The Interview Process

All suitable candidates will be invited for a preliminary interview with a senior member of the management team.

Five-Six candidates will progress to a secondary interview with the Board of Directors during which time they will be expected to give a short 10-15 min presentation on their suitability and ideas on the role.
