Ensuring the security and safety of customers at a busy events arena by providing a high visibility security presence.

You will be responsible for protecting the security and safety of the buildings and personnel. You will ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and meet relevant legislations.

You will carry out duties at busy public events ensuring duties are carried out in a professional manner and that the events are safe and compliant.

Your main responsibilities may also include:

  • Ticket and pass checking
  • Assisting and seating customers including responding appropriately to requests for assistance
  • Dealing with queries and resolving problems
  • Implementing emergency procedures if required
  • Assisting with security duties and crime prevention to ensure optimum performance
  • Conduct area and site security patrols
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Screening and vetting of visitors at all operational entrances
  • Body & bag searches compliant with the Employer s door search policy
  • The identification of non authorised selling of merchandise
  • External visitor management
  • Front of stage pit control, backstage and Artists Village stewarding (if requested by the Employer s client(s))
  • Box office queue management
  • Monitor crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and to take action to resolve as necessary
  • Complete incident and shift reports as required

In addition to the duties described above, you may also be offered non licensed and other shifts. Please note that pay rates for these will vary dependant on the duties involved.

Please note on some occasions this role will incur late finishes between 11 pm and 1 am.

The average shift length is 8 hours.

.To succeed in this role you will require the following:

  • Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
  • Experience of working within the Security Industry is an advantage.
  • SIA Door Supervisor licence (essential)
  • Experience in a customer facing role with a professional approach
  • The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Available to work weekends, days, nights and late evenings
  • A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity
