Officers investigating the discovery of two bodies in Caister-on
Sea yesterday lunchtime have confirmed that the deaths are not
being treated as suspicious.

Further toxicology tests will need to be carried out to
establish exact cause of death, however, initial findings suggest
the woman s death may have been due to natural causes.

Update: 09:15

A house in Caister-on-Sea remains sealed off this morning,
following the deaths of two people.

Police were called to the property on Upper Grange Crescent at
lunchtime yesterday (Tuesday 12 February 2013), following concerns
for the safety of the occupants.

After officers forced entry, the
bodies of a man and a woman believed to be in their 60s and 70s
were found inside.

Detective Inspector Sarah Pettengell said: Whilst the deaths
are currently being treated as unexplained, we are not looking for
anyone else in connection with them.

We are continuing to carry out
inquiries at the house and the focus of our investigation is inside
the property.

Post mortem examinations are due to take place today.

Officers from Norfolk Constabulary are currently carrying out
inquiries at a house in Caister-on-Sea following the deaths of two
people.

Police were called to the property on Upper Grange Crescent at
lunchtime yesterday (Tuesday 12 February 2013), following concerns
for the safety of the occupants.

After officers forced entry, a man and a woman were found
deceased inside.

The deaths are being treated as unexplained and the house has
been sealed off whilst officers investigate the circumstances of
the deaths.
